Recently I had a client come to see me who wanted to contact her late husband who had crossed over a year ago. I made contact with him and wished that I hadn’t! I don’t know who I asked to help me with these lessons but I know I did. I’ll forgive these people as I ask for forgiveness for my own actions. What did you learn in your relationships? Could you have learned these lessons in heaven? I don’t think so. You don’t get the chance to learn hatred, guilt, shame, grief, pain, suffering, etc. in heaven and you can’t learn them on your own. Now we can have compassion and love for others who have gone through the same experiences. And I hope I can learn through others pain and suffering so I don’t have to go through it myself! You live, learn, forgive and love otherwise your living in hell on earth! Release the pain and suffering and go on to the next lesson. The next lesson may be one of love!

The Wellcome Centre for the History of Medicine is hosting a three-day international conference on The Future of the History of Medicine from July 15-17, 2010.
